A man accused of going on a crime spree through Kansas then fleeing is arrested. It was in Arizona where police finally caught up with him.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office confirms 35-year-old Allen Dean Washburn is behind bars after police arrested him around 3:30am Saturday.

Back in January, the Sheriff's Office believed Washburn stole a vehicle from a garage in that area on Christmas Day. Then, he posted about it several time on social media.

That theft was one of many crimes Washburn is accused of, including kidnapping, possession of drugs and stealing several other vehicles.

Those crimes spanned several states.

The truck deputies say he stole from Marion County showed up in a Kansas Turnpike pay station picture. It also showed up in Arizona this week.

Now, Washburn is in jail awaiting official charges.

KWCH reports that Wasburn was considered armed and dangerous, but he was taken into custody without injuring himself or anyone else.
