BAYTOWN (KTRK) -- New surveillance video is providing a possible lead in the case of a missing Baytown teen.

13 Eyewitness News obtained a copy of the video from Tuesday night showing 17-year-old Vanessa Macias walking in an alleyway behind a Chevron on Bayway.

More than 50 volunteers are spending Sunday searching for missing Baytown teen Vanessa Macias.

The video was taken around 10:45 pm. The convenience store is more than five miles from where Vanessa had previously been seen, her high school. Vanessa left her high school on Tuesday afternoon and had not been seen since.

This new video from Tuesday night is now helping EquuSearch.

"We were going to suspend the search because we had nothing else to go on and then all of a sudden some of our members came up with some new video. We're doing the best we can. Again, our goal is to bring her back safe," said Tim Miller, director of Texas EquuSearch.

Miller said she was also spotted by a camera at a Baytown El Toro.

On Saturday Equusearch, volunteers and loved ones searched a two-square-mile area looking for the teen. Equusearch and volunteers will pass out flyers on Sunday as they canvass the area. They are also asking anyone that has surveillance video to review it to see if they see anything.

"It's been a long time. It's been a couple of days already. If you've seen her please contact Equusearch or anybody if you know where she's at," said Yesica Macias, Vanessa Macias' sister.

Vanessa was last seen wearing a light-blue long-sleeve shirt with a light-blue short-sleeve shirt underneath.

She had on blue jeans and white sneakers.
