How to dress to impress during Super Bowl weekend
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- With Super Bowl LI here in Houston, it's your chance to get out and see what's happening in our great city. With so many fun events planned over the next few days, Adelaide's Boutique co-owner Laura Bull has a few looks to help you dress to impress this week.
If you're lucky enough to go to any of the Super Bowl parties, think a little dressy, but very edgy and fun. A cute snake skin-print romper with a high heel booty will be a showstopper.
You can also never go wrong with sequins, so find a fun swing dress, but nothing too formal.
If you're headed to Discovery Green and the GRB for the NFL Experience and Super Bowl Live -- or even the big Super Bowl LI Game at NRG -- think layers! You'll likely be going from inside to outside a lot, so you don't want to get overheated. A light bomber jacket or a vest to layer over your jeans and shirt are the perfect way to warm up and cool off.
Make sure you're wearing comfy shoes, too. A cute tennis shoe, boot or bootie is the way to go. And if you can't get your team colors in with clothes, try accessories. A pop of red and blue or red and black in your jewelry or scarf can give you the fan look.
Don't forget to have a small bag or a clear bag that meets the NFL's bag policy with you.
If you're headed to a party, think comfort -- but that doesn't have to mean jeans. For some, a cute dress with booties is more comfy than jeans. To dress it down, throw a vest over the dress.
But, no matter what else, make sure to wear your team colors!
