Club Nomadic, the highly anticipated pop-up venue built for Super Bowl 51, has been issued all of its permits. The club is still missing its certificate of occupancy, which is a necessary item before it can open Thursday night.

The temporary venue was granted its permits late Wednesday by the city. A final inspection now has to take place, but the Mayor's Office of Special Events stated that the club will open.

A detailed traffic map that includes shuttles from off-site parking downtown will bring people to the venue has been released. It also details dozens of blocks in the First Ward neighborhood, where 466 "no parking" signs are being posted.

Homeowners complained about little information provided to them about the traffic the club will bring into their neighborhood. Flashing signs warning of traffic delays are already posted on Houston Avenue.

The way Justin Hodge reads the map, "the buses will be dropping people off right in front of my house."

He said he and his wife have already stocked up on food and movies and plan to hunker down for Super Bowl weekend. Hodge said he fears that if he leaves his house, he wouldn't be able to return because of all the traffic. He did not say if they would be watching the game.

"It's great that Houston has the Super Bowl," he said. "But our neighborhood is feeling the impact."

"What are they going to do about security? Security for residents and what are they going to do about trash and littering that will be here, no matter how clean everybody is?" he asked.

Wednesday evening, at least one concern was answered.

A city employee delivered a special parking placard to Hodge's home, which means he can park his car in front of his house, preventing it from being towed.

Billed as the ultimate entertainment experience, Club Nomadic is a temporary venue that "travels to marquee events and destinations across the U.S," according to its website.

Performers scheduled to take the stage this week include Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Sam Hunt and The Chainsmokers.
