Mom forced to throw baby out of window during apartment fire

BLACKTOWN, AUSTRALIA (KTRK) -- A mother in Australia was forced to throw her baby girl out of a window to save her life.

The incident happened when their apartment building caught fire. Fortunately, two neighbors rushed to the scene with a blanket to catch the baby.

"We wouldn't have made it down the stairs with all that smoke, it was just pure black," father Luke Hayes said.

The baby was not injured during the fire.
