HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Expect to feel some of that famous Houston humidity the next few days as southerly winds blow in more moisture, clouds and even a few showers.

According to ABC13 Chief Meteorologist Tim Heller, scattered rain is possible Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Widespread showers are not expected, but there could be enough moisture to generate a few brief downpours. The atmosphere could be unstable enough to produce some isolated lightning, but severe weather is not likely.

Super Bowl Sunday will be warm and somewhat muggy. Afternoon temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s. There's a 30 percent chance of scattered rain throughout the day.
