HPD officer hits man on bike in downtown Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A bicyclist only had minor injuries after he was struck by an HPD officer in downtown Houston.

Investigators say the officer was turning left near Lubbock Street when the man was run over.

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.

Investigators are still trying to figure out whether the officer was at fault or not.
