Free beer for blood donation

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and Saint Arnold Brewing Company have partnered to help save lives with a unique promotion for blood donors in the Houston area.

From Jan. 30 to Feb. 12, those who donate blood will be rewarded with a certificate to enjoy free beer at the brewery.

When you donate you get a souvenir Commit for Life taster glass and four tokens to enjoy beers from Saint Arnold's.

Saint Arnold's Brewery: Don't Worry be Hoppy

Donors may redeem their certificates at the brewery, located at 2000 Lyons Ave. near Downtown Houston, from Feb. 13 to March 4. You have to be 21 years of age and up to receive the free beer, but not to donate.

Donors can visit any of The Blood Center's 16 Neighborhood Donor Centers or any mobile blood drive during the promotion period to receive their certificate.
