Fans take advantage of the NFL experience
Fans aren't waiting until Super Bowl Sunday to get the NFL experience.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- You don't have to go the Super Bowl to have the NFL Experience.

You can practice your throwing, tackling and skills on the gridiron at the George R. Brown convention center starting Saturday morning at 10am.

"We're going to go around the experience and we're going to try to get my daughter to do as many quarterback positions as we can," said Paul Shaw, who visited with his family.

The GRB is packed with things to do and see, including the official Vince Lombardi Trophy. Houston Texan Vince Wilfork helped get the NFL Experience kicked off on Saturday morning.

Wilfork signed for the FedEx delivery of the trophy. A Super Bowl winner himself, it's not the first time he's had the honor of holding it.

Delivering it though, was a special honor.

"I've done some pretty cool things in my life and in my career, but I tell you what, that's at the top of my career to have with FedEx, (to) come deliver it to the Super Bowl," said Vince Wilfork.

While the Texans aren't playing in the Super Bowl, Texans fans came out to support their team in full force, all decked out in the Texans gear.

"Just to have brought the family along, just a family ordeal," said Joseph Richard.

The NFL experience started Saturday, Jan. 28 and lasts through Super Bowl Sunday.
