Judge issues temporary injunction against White Oak Music Hall
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A judge has issued a temporary injunction against the operators White Oak Music Hall in northern Houston, which has long drawn the ire of its neighbors.
Effective immediately, the venue must pay for the installation of sound monitoring systems at the property's perimeter, where amplified sound must be kept below 75 decibels. The venue must also make weekly reports back to the court about sound monitoring efforts.
Furthermore, the venue cannot hold more than two outdoor shows on its lawn, according to court documents.

"This is a victory for the families in three Houston neighborhoods, and it should be a wakeup call for the City of Houston to stand with families who simply want silent nights," Cris Feldman, an attorney representing the property's neighbors, said in a news release.
Neighbors will hold a press conference to discuss the injunction Thursday morning at 11am.
