Cheap flights from Houston during the Super Bowl

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- This time next week, visitors will be heading to Houston for the super bowl and while a lot of people are excited, there are a lot of families who are dreading it.

Some airlines are helping you get out of town to help you avoid the crowds and the traffic. Several companies are offering special deals from Houston just for Super Bowl weekend.

We found Jet Blue is offering round trip tickets to New York City for $102.

Spirit has flights to and from Los Angeles for $112.

If you still want to watch the game, but just not here in town, you could cheer on the Patriots in Boston. A flight from Jet Blue for $150 round trip is available.

If you want to root for the Falcons in Atlanta, Spirit is offering round trip tickets for $200.
