Officers: Armed robber blasts bullet into victim's leg in west Houston
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A violent robbery outside a west Houston apartment complex ends with a man being shot in the leg overnight.
Houston police said the shooting happened on Chetwood Drive near Dashwood a little before 1am.

Officers rushed to the scene, and found the man with a gunshot wound to the leg.
He was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay.

There is no word on any suspects or whether they used a getaway vehicle.
