Man dies after jumping out of moving car near Southwest Freeway

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators say a man is dead after he jumped out of a moving vehicle on a Southwest Freeway feeder road.

This all happened on the feeder road at Southwest Freeway at W. Sam Houston Parkway just before 1am.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene after he was severely injured.

So far, HPD has not been able to explain why the man jumped, but said the driver of the car did stop and waited for police to arrive.

The driver isn't facing any charges at this time, police said.
