Massive explosion caught on dashcam in Texas panhandle
This explosion looks like something right out of the movies

SPEARMAN, TX (KTRK) -- A massive explosion was caught on a police officer's dashcam in the Texas panhandle.

The good news is the fire from that explosion, which happened Monday night just south of the Texas-Oklahoma border, is finally out.

Two officers in Spearman were driving when they watched a ball of raging fire ignite, lighting up everything around it.

DCP Midstream says a 26-inch natural gas line ruptured, causing the explosion.

A fiery explosion was set off by a car in Michigan overnight

The fire was allowed to burn itself out.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, but a family who lives nearby was asked to evacuate as a precaution.
