Teen finds father shot to death inside their garage in NW Harris Co.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- A teenage daughter found her father shot to death overnight at their home in northwest Harris County.

Harris County deputies are at a home on Bihia Forest near Pincay Oaks, just off Antoine Drive, where they are investigating.

So far, there is no word on who shot him or whether there is a shooter out on the loose.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Children at home as father shot and killed, neighbor says

A father was shot and killed while his children were at home in NW Harris County, according to neighbors.

The teen tells Eyewitness News she heard a bing from the alarm as the door opened.

She heard her father on the phone, and then, two gunshots rang out.

The teen ran around the home and found her father shot to death inside the garage.

Neighbors said four small children and the teen were at home when the shots rang out.

When deputies arrived, they found the man dead of an apparent gunshot wound.

It appears the younger children have not been questioned so far.

In all, Eyewitness News was told the victim leaves behind six children. The victim's identity is not known, and he is only described at this point as a Hispanic man.

Our crew noticed surveillance cameras outside the home. Investigators said it is possible something was captured on camera, but that is still not a certainty.
