HOUSTON (KTRK) --A service dog who detects seizures for a young girl has been found after going missing over the weekend.
The dog, Prancer, went missing near the intersection of Sage and Westheimer on Friday evening. For days the family heard of reported sightings, but on Wednesday she was found safely near Hillcroft at Richmond. Prancer appears to be unharmed, the family says.
Prancer, a tailless 10-pound Jack Russel Terrier, watches her owner's daughter for seizures as she sleeps.
The family is thankful for the dog's safe return.
