Police: Two teens arrested for chase, gun used in murder found in car

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two teens, both 18, were arrested after a short chase in Houston Wednesday, police said.

It started with a minor crash at Greens Rd. and Northborough St., when a white Mercedes swiped a white Honda -- all happening right in front of a Houston police patrol officer.

Officers doing ordinance checks at a nearby apartment complex made the men nervous, police said. They tossed a gun out of the car and took off.

Officers caught them a short time later.

Inside the car they found money and a gun they say was used for a murder, police said.
