SAN ANTONIO, TX (KTRK) --One man is dead and two women are injured during what San Antonio Police have said is a domestic dispute that took an event more violent turn on Black Friday.
Police said the suspect, identified by police as Teles Jurarez, 21, had a woman by the hair in the parking lot when a man pulled up and tried to help her. The Good Samaritan, who was still in his car, told the male suspect "Get your hands off her."
After that verbal command, investigators say Juarez pulled out a gun and shot the Good Samaritan in the neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Juarez fired several other shots, one that hit a woman who was farther down the parking lot. That woman, who had nothing to do with the situation, was taken to University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A woman that was in the vehicle with the Good Samaritan was hit by shrapnel and also taken to the hospital.
SAPD said Juarez drove away, but was located by the police helicopter and was arrested at Cupples and Castroville Road.
No word on the identities of the victims or what led up to the domestic dispute.
