HOUSTON (KTRK) --Former Houston Rocket Steve 'The Franchise' Francis is facing a burglary charge in Manatee County, Florida, police said. Francis was arrested on a DWI charge in Houston Sunday.
Francis is now facing extradition on the charge, according to police documents.
He faces one charge of DWI and one charge of retaliation in Houston. He bonded out of jail over the weekend, but is now back in police custody on the Florida charge, police said.
The 39-year-old played with the Houston Rockets in 1999-2004 and 2007-2008 and averaged 19.3 points, 6.4 assists, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.63 steals in 374 games.
