A church in Dallas said 'amen', then popped the game up for the faithful to watch.

DALLAS (KTRK) -- A Dallas church wasted no time in making sure worshipers were able to watch America's team.

As soon as the worship service ended, they popped the game up on the big screen, a video from a Twitter user shows.

"Bro, Cowboy's fans are down for the cause," wrote user @JakeFromKonoha. The tweet has more than 6,000 retweets and nearly as many favorites.

Friendship-West church in Dallas spent part of the day defending the video, saying it happened after church was ending.

"For all concerned, we had an event going on immediately after church and wanted to make it easy to watch," the church tweeted.

The church was featured on a number of network programs, some saying the video happened during service. The church latter issued a statement saying that wasn't true.
