HOUSTON (KTRK) --Traffic has reopened on I-10 East westbound at I-45 after a car exploded in flames on the freeway.
A massive fire could be seen on Houston Transtar jam cams as several bursts lit up I-10.
All the lanes were shut down quickly by police as crews rushed to the scene to put out the fire.
Traffic is now reopened, allowing commuters to get through.
We do not yet know the condition of the driver or whether they were able to get out safely.
