VIDEO: Drivers miraculously survive crash in Fort Bend County

In spite of the mess, there is some good news to report about the drivers involved in this crash

A load of sand was spread over a huge diesel spill after the accident.

Miraculously, the driver of the car and the semi involved had non-life threatening injuries and are going to be okay.

But, the damage is done as far as the morning commute is concerned and it is going to take some time to clear this crash.

FM 1093 westbound is also going to be closed for some time as crews work to get this flipped semi turned upright.

Katherine Whaley said if you use that feeder road to get on and off the freeway, plan on sticking onto the Highway 99 mainlanes for now to avoid this mess.

You can use Cinco Ranch Boulevard as an alternate.
