HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An SUV crashed into a storefront in northwest Houston on Sunday morning, police say.
The frightening crash happened at the Zook Mobile cell phone store on the 200 block of North Vista Drive.

Eyewitness News has learned that there were two young adults in the vehicle at the time of they accident. As they were pulling into a parking space, the driver missed the brake and hit the gas instead, sending the vehicle barreling into the building.
At the time of the crash, the store was closed and unoccupied.

"Had I been sitting inside -- or someone else sitting inside -- I'm sure they would have been dead today," Faheem Akhoond, the store's owner, said in an interview, adding that both of the girls appeared to be physically okay.
