Firefighters pull trapped man out of burning car

HELENDALE, CA (KTRK) -- New video out of Southern California shows a man being rescued from a fiery two-car crash.

A dramatic call to 911 revealed a man was trapped inside one of those vehicles.

Right before emergency crews arrived, a police officer used his own squad car to push the two cars apart.

Firefighters ran in and saved the man just in the nick of time.

The man survived, but did have serious injuries.

Sadly, two people in the other car died.
