Family of missing Northern California mother holds out hope she will be found alive.

CHICO-REDDING, CA (KTRK) -- Almost two weeks have passed since 34-year-old mother of two, Sherri Papini disappeared and investigators are still coming up dry.

Sherri was last seen about a mile from her home in Mountain Gate, near Old Oregon Trail and Sunrise Drive.

HUSBAND OF MISSING MOM BELIEVES SHE WAS ABDUCTED

Papini's mother and father, Loretta and Rich Graeff, say there's no way Sherri would voluntarily leave her family.

"I believe that she was abducted, that someone knew her, someone took her. She wouldn't leave her babies, she wouldn't leave her family like this." Said Loretta, "Somebody has taken her, and we want her back. And I don't care what the cost is. Just give us information, do something. If they want money, you can have money, we just want Sherri back."

HUSBAND OF MISSING CALIFORNIA WOMAN NOT PERSON OF INTEREST, AUTHORITIES SAY

Loretta was remarkably composed as she spoke with KRCR's Mike Mangas. She said that when she first heard the news she broke down and she has cried many times since. But now her emotions have shifted.

"I can't cry because I'm mad. I'm mad. I'm very mad, that someone took our daughter. Just snatched her out of thin air. I love you, Sherri. We miss you, we want you home. Your babies miss you. Keith misses you" Loretta said.

Keith Papini, Sherri's husband, spent a lot of time with Shasta County investigators today. There's nothing new from officials, at least publicly. They admit that they have very little go to on.
