6-car pileup jams Gulf Fwy inbound at South Loop

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Gulf Freeway's northbound lanes at South Loop are backed up after an accident involving six vehicles.

If you are traveling inbound, you will want to give yourself some extra time this morning.

The wreck is taking up a left and center lane, with traffic getting by on the right lanes.

Katherine Whaley said you can use Telephone Road as an alternate.

We are not yet aware of any injuries as a result of the accident.
