William Buch thinks about his son, Michael, every day.

"He was so faithful, so good, everybody couldn't believe how wonderful he was. He never, ever complained about anything," Buch of Morrisville, Pa. said.

Michael had a severe form of muscular dystrophy and passed away at the age of 47 in January.

Buch wanted to put the year of Michael's death on his grave marker and says he was shocked by the response from the cemetery.

"She said, 'You have to pay for that.' I said, 'What do you mean I have to pay for that?' She says it's going to be $195," Buch said.

Buch refused to pay the additional fee since he says it was included in the $3,200 price he'd already paid.

"I want what I paid for," Buch said.

Buch turned to the Action News Troubleshooters at ABC13's sister station WPVI and got results.

2016 was engraved on his son's gravestone with no additional fee.

Buch was moved to more tears and gratitude, but still had a few questions as well.

"Losing my family. Losing everybody. I'm alone and then for them to do this to me is just incredulous to me. How could you do this to a human being? How can you treat somebody this way?" Buch said.

It is something we often ask ourselves.
