Constables: Men take wild ride in stolen truck full of guns

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Three men face felony charges after deputy constables say they tried to get away in a stolen truck with lots of guns inside.

The Harris County Precinct 5 Constables caught up to them, but the chase went on for more than 77 miles across four freeways.

New video into the Eyewitness News room taken by a wrecker driver shows the chase from the ground.

Investigators say the chase ended when all three men jumped from the truck as it was still moving on Pershing Street near the South Loop.

Deputy constables were able to capture the suspects. A female who was with the men surrendered immediately.

Investigators say they found a lot of guns inside the truck.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.
