Authorities still searching for missing quilts after stolen trailer found. (KTRK)

Despite a previous report that quilts valued around $125,000 were recovered, authorities say that's not the case.

The trailer carrying the quilts was recovered off US-59 and Aldine Bender Road Thursday afternoon.

Jamie Wallen, of Quilters Apothecary, says the quilts and supplies were stolen from his trailer at the Extended Stay Hotel in Greenway Plaza. The company is in town for the International Quilt Festival.

Authorities are going through what's left of the trailer.

No arrests have been made.
