Reward for missing girl raised to $60,000
The reward for information on the whereabouts of a missing 10-year-old girl in Cherokee County was raised to $60,000

BULLARD, TX (KTRK) -- Crime Stoppers is offering a $60,000 reward for information about the whereabouts of a 10-year-old east Texas girl who disappeared from her church Tuesday night.

Kayla Gomez Orozco was last seen around 7:30pm after the prayer service at the First Assembly of Church God in Bullard, just south of Tyler. An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday morning in her disappearance.

Gomez is described as 4 feet tall and 90 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black Racquet & Jog shirt and a peach-colored skirt. Law enforcement officials believe Kayla is in grave or immediate danger.

Officials say a private $40,000 donation and a series of smaller contributions helped the Cherokee County Crime Stoppers increase the reward from $13,000 to $60,000 on Friday.

Agencies from all around the state and the FBI have joined forces in the search for Orozco. If you have any information regarding this abduction, call the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at 903-683-2271.
