HCSO deputy involved in wreck on South Loop

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Harris County Sheriff's deputy who was on duty has been involved in a wreck on the South Loop.

The crash around 9:30am involved at least four vehicles, which are stopped on the westbound lanes at Buffalo Speedway.

The deputy was transferred to Memorial Hermann Hospital in good condition.

The accident had the right and center lanes blocked, in addition to the Buffalo Speedway exit ramp. Traffic is now flowing in the area.
