The Harris County Fire Marshal is investigating what caused the fire to start.
Harris County Emergency Services District 48's Simon VanDyk tells Eyewitness News the call came in just before 7pm at the Katy Lake RV Resort.

When firefighters arrived, other residents and people staying at the park were trying to douse the flames with water hoses.
A man was stuck inside the trailer on fire and residents were trying to rescue him. One resident made it inside, and close enough to touch the trapped guy, but they weren't able to get him.
Firefighters rescued the man, who had suffered from smoke inhalation and had second- and third-degree burns to over two-thirds of his body.
That man remains in critical condition.
Seven patients, including that man, received treatment. Two had smoke inhalation from trying to save the man and the others suffered injuries from being on scene.
Only the critically injured man was transported.
The fire was put out quickly and is now being investigated by the Harris County Fire Marshal.
