HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A student was arrested after police say they found a loaded gun on a Houston school campus.
Houston ISD officials say the student at the High School for Law and Justice was arrested and charged with possession of a unlawful weapon in a school zone after police discovered he brought a loaded .380-caliber pistol to school.
In addition to the criminal charge accepted by the Harris County District Attorney's Office, the student also will face appropriate disciplinary action.
The student's identity has not been released. There's no word why the student brought the gun to school.
No one was injured in the incident.
