October 13, 1980, Lifelfight crashes at Hermann Hospital injuring two (KTRK)

It's Throwback Thursday and that means we take a look at an old newscast from this day.

It was October 13th, 1980. Making the news was a Lifelight helicopter that crashed at the helipad at Hermann Hospital. Two people were injured.

The mosquito threat wasn't West Nile virus or Zika, it was St. Louis Encephalitis. An 86 year old woman from West University was believed to be latest victim of the deadly disease, five other cases were suspected.
