HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Crews battled a massive house fire in northwest Harris County late Wednesday.
Firefighters responded to the home, located in the 6000 block of North Eldridge Parkway, just after 8pm.
A firefighter suffered a minor leg injury.
"There is a fire station across the street which responded immediately," Captain David Padovan said. "There was already fire through the roof."
Padovan says water was shuttled into the area because there were no available fire hydrants.
Cy-Fair VFD and Jersey Village VFD responded to the fire.
