VIDEO: Man with walker shoved by alleged robber

NEW YORK, NY (KTRK) -- A man is wanted after he was recorded during the violent robbery of a man with a walker.

NYPD says a surveillance camera caught video of the robber as he followed a 61-year-old man into his building, even opening the door to let him in.

The man can then be seen snatching a gold chain from around the man's neck before shoving him to the ground.

The suspect, described only as a black male, then runs away from the building as his victim is left to pull himself up from the ground.

Crime Stoppers in New York is now offering a reward for the elderly man's attacker.
