Houston police have filed kidnapping charges against four men who allegedly attempted to kidnap a woman at a northwest Houston apartment complex early Saturday morning.

According to charging documents, Hector Ortiz, Israel Cruz, Mario Carreon and Rafael Torres approached a 32-year-old woman in the common area of an apartment building on the 6300 block of Northline Drive.

The men reportedly grabbed the victim, pulling her into an apartment unit and attempting to undress her. She yelled for help and was eventually able to break out of the apartment and contact police.
