Houstonian Club employee accused of sexual relationship with 13-year-old

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Houston man is accused of having a year-long secret relationship with a 13-year-old girl that allegedly began at the upscale Houstonian Hotel's pool area.

Court records allege Houstonian employee Aden Sebastian Ortiz, 24, met the girl in the pool area and they developed a relationship in 2015, meeting several times for intimate encounters.

One of the alleged encounters happened in the Houstonian Gym Parking Garage in the 100 block of North Post Oak on June 1, according to court records. Ortiz faces charges of indecency with a child relating to that incident.

A warrant remains out for Ortiz's arrest.

Representatives for the Houstonian said they cannot comment on matters involving current or former employees.

ABC13 spoke with Ortiz's neighbors who said they were shocked to hear the girl's age and that Ortiz told them he was in a relationship with a 17-year-old.

"I think he was going the air force to try and get away from that," said one neighbor who asked her identity not be disclosed.
