One critically injured after shootout in north Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One person was critically injured after a shootout Wednesday afternoon in north Houston.

According to investigators, when they arrived at the home on Wilona Way and FM 1960, there were two men inside a vehicle and two more inside the home. Authorities believe an altercation led to the shootout.

At least one man was struck in the abdomen. He was taken by a private car to a nearby hospital.

Evidence of possible drug activity was found inside the home, authorities said.

Authorities are still searching for those involved in the shootout.
