ABC13 hosted the 5th annual Month to Match campaign

SUGAR LAND, TX -- ABC-13 hosted the 5th annual Month To Match campaign educating and encouraging people to register to donate life-saving bone marrow.

We partner with the National Be The Match Registry which has the largest most diverse donor registry in the world.

The Lace Up 4 Life 5K and Tot Trot were held at the Sugar Land Town Square. ABC-13's Christine Dobbyn was the emcee. The event also brought us the first time meeting between a donor and recipient.

JP's donation saved Benjamin's life. JP registered to donate while she was a college student and says she was thrilled when she got the call several years later to donate.
