Bicyclist dies after colliding with vehicle in SE Houston

Raw video shows the scene where a bicyclist died in southeast Houston (KTRK)

A man on a bicycle has died after he was struck by a vehicle in southeast Houston.

Houston police say around 9:30 Monday night, a driver crashed into the man while traveling northbound on Mykawa Road near Fuqua Street.

A bicyclist was killed in a tragic accident in southeast Houston

The driver stopped and called 911. He stayed on the scene until police arrived.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say the driver did not appear to be intoxicated.

No word yet on whether the driver will face any charges. HPD is investigating.
