Boy runs across 4-lane road, gets hit by car
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- A boy was injured after he was struck by a car in the Galena Park area.
Investigators say the 14-year-old boy had missed the bus and tried to cross a four-lane road in order to catch the bus on the other side.
Galena Park ISD police say the student was taken by ambulance to Hermann Children's Hospital with a minor head wound.
The boy is expected to make a full recovery.
There is no word yet on whether the driver stopped to help.
