ITALY (KTRK) --A cat was saved from the rubble 5 days after last week's 6.2-magnitude earthquake in Italy.
The animal's owner had begged fire officials to find her cat, saying her pet was all she had left.
On Monday, rescue workers were combing through the city with bulldozers when they spotted the white-and-gray tabby alive.
Fire crews pulled the thirsty kitty from the rubble and gave it some much-needed water.
The animal's owner says her cat's name is Joy.
