How to make your own pumpkin spice latte
Why splurge when you can save on your favorite pumpkin spice treat?

It's still summer and temps are still in the 90s, but that doesn't mean you can get your first taste of fall.

Starbucks's pumpkin spice latte is back starting today, but it will set you back over $5.

Instead of paying big money, how about creating the pumpkin spice latte yourself?

I tested out a couple of online recipes and got my fall fix with a few ingredients.

Here is what you'll need:

  • 1 cup milk, divided
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brewed espresso

How to make a Pumpkin Spice Latte

  1. Stir 1/2 cup milk, sugar, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract in a cup.
  2. Microwave for 35 seconds.
  3. Whisk in remaining 1/2 cup milk.
  4. Pour milk mixture through filter to remove pulp.
  5. Microwave for 35 seconds.
  6. Add espresso and stir it up.

Delicious and it won't break the bank!
