Behind-the-scenes look at HISD's food production operation with abc13's Foti Kallergis.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We asked the Houston Health Department to give us the top schools with food inspection violations in 2015.

Records show Sterling High School, Fonville Middle School, Shadydale Elementary School, High School for Law Enforcement and Key Middle topped the list with the same average scores.

The violation reports are included below. In one inspection, food had to be condemned and thrown away. In another inspection, rodent droppings were found in the bottle of a cabinet in the kitchen.

However, considering how many school's HISD has, the Heath Department says HISD's school kitchens fair far better than most restaurants you eat at.
