"My neighbors heard it, they heard the thud and the screams."

A northwest Harris County teenager, who doesn't want to reveal his identity, believes the driver of a yellow box truck must have realized what happened when he ran him over, but chose not to stop.

Two brothers who attend Westfield High and their friend who attends Wunsche High were walking to catch the bus Tuesday morning, on Old Walters Road near Spears Road, when investigators say a box truck hit them.

"I just woke up on the floor, thinking I was sweating, and saw my brother screaming on the other side of the ditch, and my friend was behind me."

His friend, who also wants to remain anonymous, said, "It hit me in my arm, and the back of my ear, too. It was hard."

The teen boys described their injuries and the horrifying moment when they realized their "sweat" was actually blood. Their wounds sent them to the hospital.

Another student, Joanna Valladares, waiting on the bus, says the truck took off fast after the accident.

"I saw the three students coming to the bus stop, but I thought the truck saw them, so nothing would happen or like they would move away or move to the side," said Valladares.

Instead, the truck collided with the three teenagers and left, and these boys want to know why.

"My top priority right now, I just want to know who it was."
