HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The bodies of three elderly people: two women and a man were found Thursday at a home in northwest Harris County after an apparent murder-suicide.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says they received a 911 call from inside the home in the 7700 block of Balsam Crossing Lane around 11:40am.

It might be one of the last places Omar Cabrera thought he would see crime tape.

"I'm in shock because I know there were two old people living there," said neighbor Omar Cabrera.

He was at the home at the time and went outside to find three people dead in the backyard.

The deceased and the juvenile are all related. They include a man in his 90s, a woman in her 90s and a woman in her 70s.

It was a shock to the neighborhood.

"You never know who's living in front of your house," said Cabrera.

"I'm horrified. I'm still horrified. Their house literally backs up to this cul-de-sac and I have four teenagers," said Kimberley Magee, who lives in the neighborhood.

Deputies recovered a possible weapon. They have not said what the weapon is at this point or how the three were killed.

"They seem to be a normal, elderly couple. Again, it's a tragedy what they're having to go through," said Senior Harris County Deputy Thomas Gilliland.
