Girl struck by golf cart on field at Astros game

HOUSTON -- A member the Astros Shooting Stars squad was struck by a golf cart during the team's game on Saturday night.

Video provided to abc13 by Dustin Cash shows the girl stepping backwards at the last minute, right into the path of the golf cart carrying Orbit across the field.

That night, the team said on Twitter that the girl, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital for "precautionary x-rays."

"Her condition does not appear to be serious and we look forward to having her back with us soon," the statement continued.

On Monday, an Astros spokesperson told abc13 that the girl is "doing fine."
