Three men who were visiting the Garden City Apartments ended up in some sort of altercation with a man, according to HPD.

As they began driving away, that person pulled out a gun and opened fire.

The victims drove straight to the police station for help, but it was too late. The front passenger died, while one backseat passenger was wounded.

The driver of that vehicle was not hurt, and police say they are cooperating with their investigation.

All three men were in their 20s and 30s.

We do not yet know what the men were fighting about, but we do know the gunman is still at large after getting away on foot.

Back at the apartment complex, shell casings litter the parking lot and investigators found a bullet that went into an air conditioning unit.

Officers are searching for any clues that could lead to the suspect in this deadly shooting.

If you have any information, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
