HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A gunman is on the run after a shooting that killed one person and injured another on Houston's north side.[br /][br /]Police say someone opened fire on a car just before 11:15pm at an apartment complex on West Montgomery Road and Ellington Street.[br /][br /][b]RAW VIDEO: Deadly shooting in N. Houston[/b][br /][media ID="1458002" /][br /][br /]Three men who were visiting the Garden City Apartments ended up in some sort of altercation with a man, according to HPD.[br /][Ads /][br /]As they began driving away, that person pulled out a gun and opened fire.[br /][br /]The victims drove straight to the police station for help, but it was too late. The front passenger died, while one backseat passenger was wounded.[br /][twitter ID="[br /]761506725002293248" /][br /][br /]The driver of that vehicle was not hurt, and police say they are cooperating with their investigation.[br /][br /]All three men were in their 20s and 30s.[br /][Ads /][br /]We do not yet know what the men were fighting about, but we do know the gunman is still at large after getting away on foot.[br /][br /]Back at the apartment complex, shell casings litter the parking lot and investigators found a bullet that went into an air conditioning unit.[br /][br /]Officers are searching for any clues that could lead to the suspect in this deadly shooting.[br /][br /]If you have any information, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
