FORT BEND COUNTY, TX (KTRK) --The Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force has announced the conclusion to an investigation targeting illegal drug distribution in a section known as "KUSH Corner."
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, agents conducted the raid Tuesday evening at three residences in the 200 block of Collins Road in Richmond. Task force agents were assisted by the Fort Bend Regional SWAT, Rosenberg Police Department, Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety Air Support Division.
"This operation shows the importance of community involvement," said Sheriff Troy E. Nehls in a press release. "We will continue to dedicate resources to cleaning up the streets of Fort Bend County."

In the raid, investigators found crack cocaine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana, pharmaceuticals and a gun with the serial number removed.
Authorities were able to arrest 11 people. Those arrested include: Newell Evans, Nora Rivera, Monissa Garces, Latoya Johnson, James Gordon, Charles Johnson, Valentina Bentancur, Carol Cobbin, Elias Ebarra, Jonathan Kaluza and Joseph Owens.

Authorities say all 11 are from the Richmond area and remain in custody.
